Friends describe me as a nice guy who is very honest and supportive. I get the benefit of hearing lots of gossip because I don t tell secrets. I have a busy life, but I can always make time for friends. Since I became suddenly single, I have been working to build a larger network of friends. I think I ve made the most of being back out on my own and channeled that life change into a positive. I have had my passport stamped in 9 different countries in the last 2 years, so if you are looking for a travel partner, I've had a lot of practice. Lately I have been traveling a lot to Brazil for business. Last July I took a sidetrip to Chile to go skiing. In the past, I have also vacationed in Australia and Alaska. I like to work out several times a week. Working out gives me the ability to play the sports that I like as well as keep healthy overall. I play tennis regularly and for an adrenaline rush I am an avid skier and I have my scuba diving certification. It would be great to have a work-out buddy. I definitely want to meet someone who is interested in fitness and who would like to attend sporting events with me some of the time. If you're a skier, that would be a plus, since we could take winter trips together. While I am definitely looking for someone who is career oriented, I also am looking for someone with a soft, feminine side (is that asking for too much? ). It would be great to be able to be spontaneously romantic with the right person and have intimate conversations. It s safe to say that I am looking for someone who likes cats. My experience is that most people either really like cats or they don t like them at all. Not many people are neutral. I have had Siamese cats for the last 16 years and really enjoy their companionship. Somebody who doesn't like cats at all would not be a good match for me. I live in Raleigh-Durham and I am willing to consider distance relationships as long as they are reasonable travel times.
