I can't quite admit I'm retired but after a long career in publishing- books, media, and online I now have sufficient, but modest, resources to explore the world geographicaly, and otherwise, that I have never taken the time to do. Although I have a home in Virginia now it isn't where I plan to stay and want to find a new home base- Mexico- Panama- Central or South America where I can play tennis, maybe sail again, live reasonably and be able to travel to do some skiing and explore new parts of the world. This fall I began by exploring Mexico and found I need to become proficient in Spanish and it would be more fun with a companion. Although I have lived east and west my true home is Calfornia. Life has always been about my work, lifestyle, and family more than accumulating wealth. I live well and enjoy good food, good wine, good company, theatre, music and being outdoors and active. Oh and my animals, the care of which is a major concern for me. I've been back a month now and am already restless to go again, besides it's cold here, and I'm getting bored which tells me I need some new interests and a companion's stimulation.
