I just moved from Los Angeles back up to the Pacific Northwest after 25 years and am looking for someone to show me their favorite things about Seattle. My family and several dear friends are in the area, so I am not without a social network, just looking to do some fun things with a special person that might lead to more. It's been decades since I have been on a ferry boat, and I am always a sucker for Pike Place Market. I don't own a pair of rain boots yet (just discovered that my Ugg boots are not water proof) and I haven't stopped reaching for my umbrella each time I leave the house, although I am told that this habit will eventually fade away. I enjoy running (Nike+ Challenges), however, I need to get back into weight training and love working out with my partner. I took up golf about 5 years ago and would love to brag that I am your basic double boogie golfer, but not quite yet. I enjoy reading, going to movies, drinking seasonal micro brews (they just don't get that in LA), a great bottle of wine over a long sexy dinner, and even watching football on TV in front of the fire on a cold fall day (new past-time since moving back up to Washington). I am close with my family and hope that you are too. I had always dreamed of having a family, complete with kids, but time and circumstance may have had a chat with reality behind my back. I am definitely open to dating a single dad and would hope that I might one day be able to have a relationship with his children, as that is important to me. I am not into jealousy and I don't get people who lie, what's the point? Respect is perhaps one of the most important things in a relationship and yet sadly, I've found that so many people don't understand that.
