I have been mostly single for a very long time and I would like to find that man I still believe is out there ... somewhere ... perhaps even reading POF. I am a 45 year old woman who is compassionate, easy-going, articulate and well educated. I have hobbies, interests, very good friends and somewhat of a social life. However, in spite of all this, there is an empty space in my heart reserved specifically for my significant other and right now, I am reminded of this void in my life. You need to understand that I seek not the man who will complete me, for I am already whole ... I do, however, seek the man who compliments me ... the man who can lend to me his strength in the place of my weakness, who accepts my strength in the place of his weakness. The man who is silly and playful and serious and confident and self-composed and intelligent and articulate and easy-going and light-hearted and open-minded and full of depth and passion and erotic intensity and creative energy, who is supportive and lovable and loving and perfectly .... wonderfully .... mine. So here goes....I don't ask for much...just a decent, kind hearted, good man. One who is ready for finding that special someone to spend time with. I am older and would like to think much wiser now. So am I picky...yes...and because I think we all deserve to be. I am not a model, but I think I do okay in the looks department, so far I have never had anyone run upon meeting me. I have 2 boys, so I love sports....well except hockey....I know I know...how UN Canadian of me. Football, Basketball and Skateboarding are big in our house. So if I sound like someone you would like to get to know then send me an email....you never know what may happen. It is late, and this is most assuredly a ramble but it is also my heart. If you can hear me at all and you believe you are this man that I seek, I would love to hear from you. Perhaps together we will discover the one with whom we can continue this journey called life. Good luck in your journey to find the one for you! He's not perfect. You aren't either, and the two of you will never be perfect. But if he can make you laugh at least once, causes you to think twice and if he admits to being human and making mistakes, hold on to him and give him the most you can. He isn't going to quote poetry, he is not thinking about you every moment, but he will give you a part of him that he knows you could break. Don't hurt him, don't change him and don't expect more than he can give. Don't analyze. Smile when he makes you happy, yell when he makes you mad and miss him when he is not there. Love hard when there is love to be had. Because perfect guys don't exist, but there's always one guy that is perfect for you. ~ Bob Marley~
