I have one great truth. It is that the truth itself is what is most important, for it is one of the few pillars that any of us can hang a hat on. There is also an unrequited poet inside me and a lover of art, of beauty, and of all which is light in heart and being. Additionally, there is an admirer of contrast. This I guess stems from the old saying that the lofty heights of the mountains would not be nearly so great if it were not for the depths of the valleys. I am also a lover of words but more than the simple text the emotions that drive them and the actions that take flight in their wake. Finally, and you will notice this in the first email, the first meeting, and perhaps. The first kiss, but whimsy and the unexpected are as essential as the air we breathe to me. The things I find pleasure in are equally diverse and range from outdoor activities like camping, biking, skiing, water sports to catching a symphony orchestra, traveling out of town for a weekend highlighted by some strange eclectic band and spectacular dining. I am also a dichotomy in my financial life. I run a successful small business, and look/dress nicely, but if you were to see me driving around town in one of my beater cars you would never guess (which I like by the way) that all my bills are paid and my life was comfortable. What I am looking for is friendship right now, a partner who enjoys life, music, dancing, living each moment as if it could be our last and taking in the many blessings we are brought each day. While still being comfortable enough in their own skin to playfully laugh and poke fun as we walk down that path together.
